Hi all. I find the bingo card funny but it does not make me take the NDP any more seriously or feel obliged to give them my vote. It does not even really affect my feelings about the Liberals (maybe it is subconsciously). I wanted to see the debate but I was working that night. I am quite distressed by the attitude I see around me that the vote is a nonissue and why bother. I know the choices leave something to be desired; but the only ways to change anything are to get involved or to vote. Okay getting involved might have a bigger impact than voting but you have to start somewhere.
People are apathetic and disillusioned with the current political process and choices. Not to pick on Harper and the Tories per se, but if anyone thinks a change in government will automatically result in a return to an honest and corruption free government is dreaming. And it will leave the electorate feeling even more bitter and removed from the process. Which leads to even lower voter turnouts. Still, it could be worse. We could still be dealing with Mulroney.
